The Property
Located in Boxford, Merrimack Valley Icelandics is a private boutique barn nestled in a quiet ten acre wooded setting 30 miles from Boston. There is a forested trail, riding path, and round pen on the property. We have access to conservation land trails and large indoor and outdoor rings at Spring Tide Farm Equestrian facility.
The barn was built in 2013 and features four 12x12 stalls with dutch doors and rubber floor mats. Three of the four stalls offer optional indoor/outdoor access and each stall has a ceiling fan and light.
Two horses share each stall with a divider for night sleep as needed, with thick shavings for the horses’ comfort. There is also a heated tack room with fridge for your comfort.
We offer individual or group turn out with partial grazing. The paddocks are wooded for shade with uneven terrain for natural footing - not flat sand paddocks!
